Terminal Offers:-
1. A new
20,000sq ft warehouse with an internal
rail line. This allows for the
unloading of the train,
and re-loading the delivery vehicles
under cover.
The building is insulated and is designed
to
hold coils and other materials of
up to 30 tonnes
in weight. It is equipped
with a 20 tonne capacity
overhead crane for easy and
efficient off loading of rail
wagons. Special coil cradles
with rubber protection
are used for storing strip
coils.
2. A wide range of
handling
equipment including:-
30 tonne FLT
16 tonne FLTs
Coil Handlers
Container Handlers
C-Hooks
Spreader Beams
Internal Overhead Crane (20 Tonnes)
32 Tonne Container Stacker
We are equipped to handle a wide
variety of
products, including coil, bar,
billets, rail, structural
steel, engineering products and all
palletized
products.
3. We are also able to
handle/transfer containers from
our second external rail line.
There is hard standing
for storage of the containers.
4. An on site
weighbridge for accurate dispatching.
5. A
dedicated fleet of road haulage vehicles, that can
carry 29 tonnes per delivery, making
deliveries cost
effective. As the vehicles run from
the terminal, we
can easily make adjustments to loads with
minimum
notice. The terminal offers a 24
hour delivery
service. We have a variety of
trailers including
specially adapted covered coil carriers.
6. A
temperature controlled warehouse.
